ABOUT
Carlo Borlenghi was born on 1956 in Bellano (Como Lake) where he started his photography career following the local regattas. Still young, thanks to the collaboration with the magazine “Uomo Mare Vogue”, he travelled around the world, following the most important nautical events. He is the official photographer for all the national and international Rolex nautical events. Since 1983, he has photographed America’s Cup’s campaigns: Azzurra, Italia, Moro di Venezia, Luna Rossa, ACM, Alinghi. Since 1994 he follows Giovanni Soldini’s boats: Stupefacente Kodak, Telecom Italia, Tim Progetto Italia, Telecom Italia. He has photographed several editions of the “Whitbread Round the World Race” and “Volvo Ocean Race”: Gatorade, Brooksfield, Merit Cup, Merit, Amer Sport One, Amer Sport Too. In 2000 he followed Grant Dalton’s “Club Med” for “The Race”. Since several years he is the official photographer of nautical events for: Barcolana, Dubois Cup, Loro Piana Superyacht, Perini Navi Cup, Pirelli, Yacht Club Monaco and China Cup in Shenzen.
ABOUT
Francesco graduated in 2004 in photography at the European Institute of Design IED in Milan. In 2007 he studied at the School of Visual Art in New York, Photo, Video and Related Media. His work have been exposed in different museum and galley: Triennale di Milano, Museo Fotografia Contemporanea, Chiostro di S.Agostino, SVA Gallery NewYork.
From 2004 he works for the Studio Borlenghi, covering assignement for: Campari, Emirates Team New Zealand, Nespresso, Pioneer, North Sail, Murphy & Nye, Nautors Swan, Pirelli, Grand Soleil, Ferretti, Serigi, Solaris, Sport Week, Perini Navi, Arzanà Navi, Camper & Nicolson, Fiart, Barcolana, Audi Sailing Series, Audi MedCup, FIV, Joe Fly Sailing Team, Calvi Sailing Team, America's cup, Offshore Racing Circuit, Rolex world sailing events, Robertissima.
He explores the cinematic language throught workshops and educational programs held by: Zelig - Bolzano, Locarno Film Festival, Filmmaker, Lab80, OffiCine Fare e Cinema. Where I had the chance to learn straight form contemporary filmmakers: Aleksandr Sokurov, Michelangelo Frammartino, Paolo Benvenuti, Ben Rivers, Studio Azzurro. He has directed several short documentaries.
ABOUT
Born in Sicily, Luca has a degree in Communications and a master in Photography at International School of Photography in Florence.
He joined Studio Borlenghi in 2009, collaborating as photographer and photo editor, covering many international races such as America’s Cup whit Alinghi and Luna Rossa, America’s Cup World Series, Rolex Regattas, Audi Sailing Series, Volvo Ocean Race, Barcolana and Loro Piana Superyacht.
ABOUT
Stefano started his career in 2002 as a photographer combining his passions for photography and open-air activities. In 2005 obtains a European degree in photo editing bringing his photography to a new technical level. Looking for new fields of expressions in the same year he becomes the assistant of Carlo Borlenghi, who led him to join his working activity with his passion for nautical sports such as windsurfing.
Carlo and him were the official photographers for the 32nd America's Cup, and Alinghi's photographers for the 33rd America's Cup. He is the assistant of Carlo Borlenghi in many Rolex International Sailing Events, such as the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, the Rolex Fastnet Race and The Rolex Middle Sea Race among others. As a photographer he has worked for many important sailing teams and also for many shipyards, realizing shootings for advertising and commercial purposes.
He has been a member of Studio Borlenghi, the highest regarded photography studio specialized in nautical sports, since its beginning. He is represented by Sea-Way photographers agency.
